She might be one of the most famous singers in the world, but Nicole Scherzinger seemed happy to take a back seat to boyfriend Lewis Hamilton over the weekend.

Supporting the racing driver at the Malaysian Grand Prix, the 34-year-old star played the doting girlfriend, sticking close to her long-term partner.

But even though she was there for her other half, the former Pussycat Doll made sure that she stood out in a brightly coloured maxi dress.

The Boomerang singer looked instantly recognisable with her mane of thick dark hair scraped up into a ponytail and a huge pair of white-rimmed sunglasses covering her face.

Making the most of the heat in Kuala Lumpur, Nicole paired the loose-fitting strappy dress with casual metallic sandals.

The star couple held hands and smiled together as they wandered around the paddock during a break in the race, looking as loved up as ever.

While Nicole is yet to announce whether or not she'll be returning to this year's X Factor panel, she looks relaxed about the decision.

The singer's representative has denied reports that she has asked Simon Cowell to double her fee to £1.5million.

According to The Sunday People, the judge has asked for a pay increase if she is to remain on the panel.

A source said: 'Cowell has made Nicole an offer but she knows the money she wants and it’s double what she got last year.'

Nicole beat Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh in the competition last year, with her act James Arthur winning the show.

The line-up for the show has not been revealed yet and it seems that Simon Cowell is in talks with potential judges.

Tulisa slammed reports she had been sacked from the show but didn't confirm or deny if she was appearing on next year's show.

Earlier this month she said: 'I’m realistic, if Simon had called to say I was sacked, I’d say. If there were issues, I’d say.'

A spokesperson for the show said: 'No formal decisions have been made about the panel for this year's X Factor or any contracts as yet.'
