Lauren Pope gave her ex-boyfriend Kirk Norcross a fright when she admitting having a pregnancy test after they slept together.
But after keeping him on tenterhooks as she berated him for not returning her messages, the blonde DJ finally admitted the test was negative on Wednesday's episode of The Only Way Is Essex.
The couple, who dated for nine months in 2011, started sleeping together just before Christmas.

However, with Kirk determined they should just remain 'friends with benefits', he has been playing it cool over the past few weeks and not returning her messages.
But after doing a pregnancy test with the support of close fried Chloe Sims, she demanded an emergency meeting in the pub with an anxious Kirk.
After Chloe excused herself from the table to talk to her cousin Joey Essex, Lauren tore into Kirk for being so rude.

She said: 'I've not really heard from you. I texted you but I didn't get a reply...'
However, Kirk protested his innocence: 'I thought we were pals. I didn't think we had to text and that.'
She replied: 'Something's happened recently. I needed a friend...

'It wasn't positive': Lauren admitted she wasn't pregnant
'I took a pregnancy test... I found this out and I rang Chloe, not you.'
As Lauren started to get emotional, Kirk tried to be supportive: 'Don't cry cos I ain't done nothing wrong. Something like that I would rather be with you. I feel bad.'
Laure lamented: 'If I was some girl you met in a club, you wouldn't be there...

Something's up: Kirk had been seen nervously reading a message from Lauren earlier in the episode
Kirk insisted: 'There was nothing to stop...'
However, an upset Lauren said: 'When you have sex with a girl, there is something to stop. You just ended it cos you stopped calling me.'
Then she finally put him out of his misery as she revealed: 'It's not positive.'
