It's been a rocky few weeks for on/off TOWIE couple Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone.

However, after the pair decided to reunite on Wednesday's episode of the ITV2 reality show, it appeared the rumours of Mario's alleged infidelity just won't go away quietly.

As she spent Saturday working in her Brentwood boutique, Lucy, 21, couldn't help but keep looking at her phone - presumably reading her busy Twitter feed.

Wearing a sheer white top and minimal make-up compared to her usual high-maintenance style, Lucy looked fresh-faced and youthful.

While she was kept busy doing fittings for local teenagers' prom dress appointments, her serious expression suggested there were other things on her mind.

After her day of working at Lucy's Boutique, the brunette changed into a navy shift dress as she headed home to the Essex apartment she shares with 25-year-old Mario.

Lucy only moved back in last week after a brief split over nightclub hostess Amy Broadbent's claims they had spent time together in Manchester last autumn.

While Lucy has chosen to believe Mario's insistence nothing happened with Amy, she has been inundated with Twitter messages with a string of allegations about Mario's behaviour.

On Friday night, she posted a lengthy Twitter statement hitting out at Amy's claims of Mario and other women, before later deleting it.

However, Sugar Hut Honey Amy kept her Friday tweets, reading: 'Oh deary me... Are you STILL trying to lie to yourself... #really.

'@lucy_meck yeh right! You do whatever and say whatever!! It's not my problem! You need to realise he's taking you for an absolute MUG!

'@lucy_meck no one deserves to be treated the way he treats you.'

However, Mario was clearly unimpressed with Amy's repeated claims and tweeted on Friday: 'See that lying hound is still tweeting about me... Stalker! Leave me and my gf alone, you have done enough! Night all x.'
