The BAFTAs are one of the most glittering nights in the UK film industry calendar, and this year's event looks to be as star studded than ever.

A host of Hollywood stars jetted in to London on Saturday afternoon, ready for the following night's gala.

Among the famous faces seen braving the blustery chill at Heathrow were Magic Mike star Channing Tatum.

The hunky 32-year old walked through the terminal with his pregnant wife, Jenna Dewan, who looked snug in a grey coat.

Channing kept it casual in jeans, trainers and a brown coat, with a porkpie hat and sunglasses to detract lustful stares from nearby women.

Despite being heavily pregnant, Jenna managed to smile and looked at ease after the long haul flight from Los Angeles.

As well as her front-tied coat, she wore a pair of knee-high black suede boots with a pair of thick leggings.

Over one arm she carried a metallic tote, and her black hair looked perfectly styled.

Also arriving from Tinseltown on Saturday afternoon was actress Amy Adams.

No coat? Amy Adams looked like no one told her how much colder London is than LA

Nominee: Amy has been nominated for an award for her part in The Master

She dressed casually for her flight in a pair of skinny jeans and brown knee-high boots.

A knitted pink jumper with a deep V-neck and a black blazer was her only defense against the cold, which she might have regretted as she landed on British soil.

Amy, 38, is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Master.

Another nominee who made the ten-hour flight to the UK for Sunday night's event is Ben Affleck.

The star has been given the nod for three awards, Best Leading Actor, Best Director and Best Film, for his movie Argo.

He is joined in London by his actress wife Jennifer Garner who joined him in an impromptu autograph signing session outside their hotel.

Grey day: Ben looked scruffy as he returned to his hotel after a day out and about in London

Three times lucky: Ben's film, Argo, has been nominated thrice at Sunday night's BAFTA Awards

The couple looked casual and Ben looked especially laid back in a wooly hat and matching jumper with Aztec-style motif.

Juno Temple, nominated for Rising Star Award, was also looking laid back as she flew home in to her native UK.

The Somerset-born actress has previously starred The Dark Knight Rises and St Trinians, and will soon be on screen with Angelina Jolie in Maleficent.

She wore a pair of eye-catching red trousers and a shaggy green coat for her flight, and the 23-year old went without make-up.

Images have been released of the restaurant of the Royal Opera House being prepared for the exclusive annual event.
