Harry Styles dashes through the snow to One Direction tour rehearsals

Dashing through the snow, in a single-breasted winter coat, Harry Styles encountered some female fans as he made his way to tour rehearsals.

The One Direction star was in Leeds, and could obviously have benefited from a scarf as he scurried across a car park to the venue.

But ever the ladies man, he made sure to stop and pull out a heart-warming smile for his admirers.

With universal appreciation of Harry -  and the rest of the chart-topping boyfriend - it will surprise some to find he has been painted with a villainous label.

This year, NME have nominated the 19-year old for their Villain of the Year title at this year's award ceremony.

Held in London on February 27th, Harry goes up against British Prime Minister David Cameron, Psy, Skrillex, Azealia Banks and Fred Macpherson from indie band Spector.

As One Direction have been nominated for Worst Band of the Year, it can be assumed NME gave Harry his dubious nomination for crimes against music.

Last year Justin Bieber won the deplorable title, and with his brand of pop so similar to One Direction's, they could receive the honour.

Winning the award for Worst band from the indie music mag probably wouldn't got down well for Harry, who has tried to define himself separately from his reality show roots, acquiring some A-list hipster friends and illustrating his body with tattoos to hide the teenybopper within.

But at least he can play an instrument - unlike most manufactured artists - and got a chance to jam during rehearsals in the Yorkshire city.

Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne arrived at the venue together, but rushed in without stopping to meet fans who had been waiting several hours for a chance to meet their idols.

But fans will have the chance get an intimate look at the band when documentary 1D In 3D comes to cinemas in August.
