Flying the flag for Manchester United, Kai Rooney and his granddad Tony McLoughlin were a matching pair in red and black on holiday in Barbados.
The two had been visiting the tropical island with the three-year old's mum, and Tony's daughter Coleen on yet another vacation with other members of the Rooney/McLoughlin family.
But while they beat the winter cold of England, Wayne continued to play in the football matches that pays for their trips abroad.

The grandson and granddad were walking hand-in-hand round Holetown, known for its expensive shopping district.
No doubt Coleen was enjoying some holiday retail therapy while her little boy spent time with her dad.
But it's not just fashion shopping the expectant mother is excited to get started on.

Bonding: The grandson and granddad were walking hand in hand round Hull town, known for its expensive shopping district
Coleen - who is due to give birth to her second child in May - tweeted: 'Think I need to make a list and start ordering some things for our new baby!! Bottles, steriliser, baby-grows, cot etc etc etc!! #exciting (sic)'.
As she is expecting another boy, it's surprising she hasn't thought to recycle the baby clothing and equipment used for Kai, but one would hope these items may have been passed onto another new mother to use rather than be just chucked aside.
And although the 26-year old is excited for her new arrival, she is worried her due date may prevent her from seeing another mother in action.

With Beyoncé coming to England in May as part of her 'Mrs. Carter Show' tour, Coleen pleaded with the singer to postpone her concert dates to accommodate her pregnancy.
'Beyonce ... Can't you wait till after I have had my baby please to come to England. Haha!!' She tweeted on Monday.
While Coleen concerned herself with a trivial music concert, her husband has been far busier preparing for battle against his former team Everton on Sunday 10th February.
When the Devils met the Toffees at this point in the Barclays Premier League competition last season, United failed to secure a win, despite twice establishing a two-goal lead, leaving the final score at 4-4.
Unlucky for dad: While they beat the winter cold of England, Wayne continued to play in the football matches that paid for their trip
That contributed to Manchester City's overall taking of the title, the first for the club in 44 years.
But as Manchester United have earned more points this season than they have ever done in their Premier League history after 25 games, Wayne knows they need to keep securing good victories.
'We have scored plenty of goals. It is the most number we have scored at this stage of the season.'
'Results are the most important thing now,' he said.
