It was one of the biggest controversies in Celebrity Big Brother to date when Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag purposely failed a task to prevent Claire Richards from receiving a letter from home.
And while the rest of the housemates refused to therefore receive their own messages on Monday night's show, the Steps star was finally given a treat as she was handed the note on Tuesday's episode instead.
And while she broke down in tears hearing the words from her husband and children, it was Neil 'Razor' Ruddock who was surprisingly the most emotional.

'Big boys cry': Neil 'Razor' Ruddock breaks down in tears as he's finally given a letter from his loved ones at home on Tuesday night's Celebrity Big Brother show
The footballer was also allowed to be given his message from home after he was placed in the girls' team as part of a challenge, which they eventually won.
And as a result he was read out his note, along with Claire's and Tricia Penrose's.
After they successfully completed the task, Big Brother gathered housemates on the sofas. As the girls did so well in the task, Big Brother further rewarded for them; letters from home for Tricia, Claire and Razor.
The housemates applauded but Ryan looked upset but tells housemates not to worry. 'Keep strong, itâs three more days, come on son,' Frankie reassured him.
Tears of joy: Claire also cried after the girls won the task and were rewarded with the letters, a day after Speidi had purposely ensured she wouldn't get hers by refusing to carry out a task
Happy note: Actress Tricia Penrose was the third housemate to hear from their loved ones after they successfully won the girls are better than boys task
Claire chose Rylan to read out her letter and she cried as he read: 'Iâm so happy you and Rylan have a friendship.'
Ryan then put his upset to the side as he volunteered to read Razorâs letter and read that his daughter sees him on TV and comments: 'Daddy, telly, working.'
Razor then began to cry, while still dressed in his girls' dress and hat, and told his fellow housemates: 'Iâm good, big boysâ cry.'
Finally some laughs: Tricia's husband made the whole house laugh when he chastised her for swearing and making their son emulate her
Happy families: Even Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt seemed slightly moved at hearing the messages despite stopping them from getting their letters 24 hours earlier
Emotional: Rylan Clark didn't get his own letter from home but was still overcome as he was asked to read Claire and Tricia's out
He then jokingly added: 'Iâve cried in front of me mates, dressed in a f**king dress.'
Lastly, Tricia also chose Rylan to read her letter. Her husband wrote that one of their children has been âswearingâ a bit at school, adding: 'What do you expect seeing you,' causing the housemates laugh.
All of the housemates ended up teary, although Heidi whispered to Spencer: 'Ours was way longer.'
Task time: Earlier in the day the housemates were grouped into a girls and boys team to be pitted against each other in a number of stereotypical games
Drive Tricia, drive! The actress had to carry out a series of multi-tasks, including parking a car in a tight spot and changing a baby's nappy while carrying a phone
Is that wise? She also had to down a pint of beer while carrying the pretend baby
Oops! But Ryan, aka Toadie, lost the first challenge for the boys team after accidentally dropping his phone on the floor
The touching moments came after an almighty row between the housemates, in particular Rylan, and Speidi the night before.
They haven't been the most popular of housemates since entering the Celebrity Big Brother house.
But Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag went one step further on Monday night's show as their failure to complete a task meant that Claire Richards didn't receive the letter from her children.
Not playing! Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt refused to participate and instead sulked on their bed inside
At least he's game: Razor was told he'd have to be an honorary girl as there weren't enough to take part, happily dressing up in a dress and make-up
Before the tears: Razor helped the girls win the challenge, although he wasn't pleased when they were rewarded with a male stripper at their 'hen party'
Next task! The boys and girls had to complete a number of exercises in plastic onesies to try and collect the 'most sweat'
As the Steps star broke down in front of her other housemates, the American reality couple clapped and laughed, incurring the wrath of everyone else.
But as they woke up the next day Tricia commented how she was fed up of the tension and wanted it to all go away.
And Claire similarly admitted she was concerned what would happen if they were given another task whether Heidi and Spencer would refuse to join in again.
Refusal: Heidi and Spencer insisted they wouldn't partake in team games with the other house mates and argued they don't like hen and stag parties anyway
Oops: But they soon lived to regret their actions when Big Brother punished them by taking their bed away
Learning their fates: They returned to their hideout in the bedroom to see all their clothes had been placed in boxes
Grumbling: The pair then admitted to themselves they should have just taken part in the task
Only a few hours later and her concerns came true after Big Brother rounded them up in the living room to reveal their next big challenge.
But after they were told about the day's task, Speidi headed straight to the diary room to talk to Big Brother about the task ahead.
'Weâre not going to take part in any team tasks with them, even if it was to win the lottery.' The couple also revealed that they are âagainstâ stag and hen parties anyway because of their âbeliefs.â
Hen party! Claire put a veil on her head as she unwound during the special bash
Cheeky: The girls joked around with their rude shaped straws as they chatted and giggled in the living room
Squeal! Razor complained as a male stripper was sent in for them, although Tricia and Claire seemed pleased
'We know whoâs better out of the boys and girls and itâs Speidi, above all,' Heidi added.
Although they soon lived to regret their decision when they were told as a punishment their big double bed would be removed.
A devastated Heidi exclaimed: 'Why didn't we do the task?'
Spencer commented glumly: 'Self saboteurs.'
But while they remained glum on their made up bed of cushions, the rest of the housemates enjoyed themselves.
This we'll join in on! Heidi rushed to get a beer as soon as Big Brother revealed the rest of the housemates could enjoy some alcohol
Having it out: Tricia tried to make amends with the couple, who made a half attempt at an apology for failing the previous day's task
On top of the letters reward, the girls also received their hen party.
After Tricia and Claire dressed up they then squealed as they realised Big Brother had even sent them in a male stripper, while they got to enjoy alcoholic beverages throughout.
And the rest of the housemates were eventually allowed to join in, with even Speidi rushing to grab themselves a beer.
It seems the hate had managed to somewhat disperse between them as it was then down to Tricia to make amends, telling them they were "good people".
She announced in the kitchen, looking upset: 'I just want everyone to be happy. I don't like this atmosphere.'
Tricia turned to Speidi and exclaimed: 'You're nice! You are nice people. I know you are. Arenât these nice people, everyone?'
Refusing to let it go, Tricia insisted: 'You ARE nice, I know you are because I'm psychic."
Explaining why she clapped during the announcement, Heidi said: We thought they would separate us for days and thatâs why we said no. If they gave us a costume we would have loved to do it and we asked 'Can't we do anything else like other people have?'
Spencer added: 'Big Brother wanted to pit everyone against us. : "The clap was misinterpreted. because everyone was clapping for each team. And then no one clapped for us."
