She's fast-becoming hot property in Hollywood, and has already been seen in a number of showstopping ensembles throughout awards season to date.

And Michelle Dockery certainly didn't disappoint as she hit the red carpet at the 19th Annual SAG Awards on Sunday night in a particularly daring number.

Although from the front, the Downton Abbey actress looked the picture of elegance thanks to her floor-skimming black gown, the side view offered a decidedly more racy look with the 31-year-old star showing off a fair amount of 'side boob' thanks to the sheer panels at the side of the gown.

With the effortlessly chic number showing off Michelle's tiny waist, she teamed her showstopping gown with perfect porcelain skin, dramatic smokey eyes and a slick of ruby lipstick.

The actress wore her dark brunette locks swept to one side and carried a simple clutch bag, while opting for a pair of pretty drop earrings and a three-tier bracelet in the form of accessories.

Also flying the flag for the Brits was Kelly Osbourne, who chose an elegant black floor-skimming beaded number with a cinched-in waist and sheer panel detailing at the neck as she walked the red carpet at Los Angeles' Shrine auditorium.

The 28-year-old television personality completed her look with her lilac locks swept up into a chic up-do and a slick of pillar-box red lipstick.

Kelly carried a gun-metal grey beaded clutch bag and wore a chunky black statement ring on her finger.

Elsewhere, Homeland star Damian Lewis cut a dapper figure in his simple black tuxedo, before heading up on stage alongside Julianne Moore to present an award.

Meanwhile, Slumdog Millionaire actor Dev Patel opted for a simple, tailored dark suit, which he teamed with a crisp white shirt and a chocolate brown tie.

Freida Pinto, the British actor's Mumbai-born girlfriend and former co-star cut a dazzling figure in a fuchsia number with a black ribbon at the waist.

The prevailing themes for the rest of the celebrity attendees seemed to be dark and dramatic or pale and fairy-like; with plenty of embellishment catching the late in the day California light after hours of showers.

It was fitting on a night that honoured the biggest fantasy hit of our TV times, Game of Thrones, that Ariel Winter also joined in the natural inspired fantasy theme.

She wore a stunning beige gown which branched out into taffeta in the skirt and featured foliage on the corset, Jayma Mays and champagne heiress, Vitalie Tattinger, also showed off pale gowns that looked fit for a regal ball.

Continuing the theme, that old hero of fantasy and magical awards, Dick Van Dyke is to be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 87-year-old Night at the Museum star - who has been working in Hollywood since the 60s - admitted he can't wait to accept the award at the star-studded 19th annual event in Los Angeles because it means a lot to be celebrated as an actor rather than an entertainer.

Speaking to People.com before the event, the Diagnosis Murder star said: 'This was a surprise. People think of me as a song and dance entertainer. To be accepted by my peers as an actor is really a thrill.'

The actor also revealed that he will be celebrating his seven-year anniversary with his 41-year-old wife Arlene, who he first met at the 2006 SAG Awards, where she was working as a make-up artist.

He said: 'There was something about her beautiful eyes.'

The couple married in a 'spur of the moment' ceremony in Malibu, California, on February 29 last year.

Delicate: Ariel and Jayma opted for fairy-tale frocks and both pulled them off wonderfully

Mary Poppins star Dick - who presented Mary Tyler Moore with the Lifetime Achievement award last year - was first married in 1948 to Margie Willett in a ceremony broadcast live on radio show 'Bride and Groom'. They have four grown up children together, but divorced in 1984 after a long separation.

The actor also had a relationship with actress Michelle Triola from 1976 until her death from lung cancer in 2009.

The James Bond adventure Skyfall and the fantasy series Game of Thrones picked up prizes for best stunt work from the Screen Actors Guild.

The stunt honors were announced Sunday on the red carpet before the official SAG Awards ceremony, as stars were gathering for their guild's big night.

JoBeth Williams and Scott Bakula announced the winners, noting the value of stunt players, who often are overlooked for their contributions to film and television.

Among nominees for the 19th annual guild awards are Oscar winners Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field and Tommy Lee Jones for the Civil War epic Lincoln; Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway for the Victor Hugo musical adaptation Les Miserables; and Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Oscar recipient Robert De Niro for the oddball romance Silver Linings Playbook.

On a lighter note: Ariel Winter, Jayma Mays and Vitalie Taittinger chose pale and very interesting gowns

De Niro and Jones are in an exclusive supporting-actors group where all five nominees are past Oscar winners. The others are Alan Arkin for the Iran hostage-crisis thriller Argo, Javier Bardem for the James Bond adventure Skyfall and Philip Seymour Hoffman for the cult drama The Master.

Honours from the actors union, next weekend's Directors Guild of America Awards and Saturday night's Producers Guild of America Awards - whose top honou8r went to Argo - typically help to establish clear favorites for the Oscars. But Oscar night on Febriuary 24 looks more uncertain this time after some top directing prospects, including Ben Affleck for Argo and Kathryn Bigelow for Zero Dark Thirty, missed out on nominations. Both films were nominated for best picture, but a movie rarely wins the top Oscar if its director is not also in the running.

Steven Spielberg's Lincoln would seem the Oscar favorite with 12 nominations. Yet Argo and Affleck were surprise best-drama and director winners at the Golden Globes, and then there's Saturday's Producers Guild win for Argo, leaving the Oscar race looking like anybody's guess.

The Screen Actors Guild honors at least should help to establish solid front-runners for the stars. All four of the guild's individual acting winners often go on to receive the same prizes at the Academy Awards.
