It’s a trouble area for many women.
So Miley Cyrus and Christina Ricci were justifiably proud of their toned stomachs as they showed them off at New York Fashion Week.
The stars put their taut midriffs on display as they graced the Marc Jacobs show for the Autumn 2013 presentation sponsored by Mercedes Benz.

Actress and singer Miley revealed her flat middle section as she donned a cropped Mickey Mouse jumper with stripy red and white skirt which fell below the knee.
The 20-year-old â€" who is sporting a platinum blonde pixie hair style with dark roots â€" teamed with a pair of black high heels and a black and white clutch bag featuring square and diamond prints.
Posing with model Cara Delevigne, it looked as if she was wearing a trendy body chain underneath her clothing.

Accessorising with gold bracelets and large stud earrings, she was joined by an equally stylish parent.
The former Hannah Montana star was accompanied by Trish Cyrus, who wore all black in the form of a blazer with leather leggings and boots.
The blonde wore her hair up in a bun and carried a scarlet bag over her shoulder, squeezing her daughter around the waist as they posed for pictures.

Actress Christina Ricci also put her midriff on parade for the event.
Dressed in monochrome, the 33-year-old wore a top which went slightly sheer under the camera’s flashbulb.
Her nude colour bra could be seen under the harsh light but as a red carpet regular, perhaps it was an effect she intended.

She wore pointed white shoes with chunky heels and carried a stripy bag as part of her ensemble, later adding a blue coat to brave the cold outdoors.
Christina seemed delighted to mingle with the designer himself, who was greeted by a whole host of famous faces.
Former America’s Next Top Model panellist Jay Alexander, singer Debbie Harry, model Jessica Stam, and director Sofia Coppola also came to view the catwalk.
Many of them donned stripy attire, including Rachel Zoe who brought along her husband Rodger Berman.
