It's supermarket fashion, Jim, but not as you know it. F&F's latest menswear collection has just been revealed - and it's proving to be quite the success.
Full of the sort of preppy chic pieces you'd expect to find at Gap, Jack Wills or Abercrombie, the new collection of summer separates elevates trolley fashion from the merely functional to the truly fashionable.Â
Styling is 'relaxed Miami', with washed polos, slim-fitting tailoring and denim on denim, with a dash of camouflage to keep things catwalk current.
Colourblocking: Polo, £14, and chinos, £14
Summer style: Polo top, £8; T-shirt, £4; shorts, £14            RIGHT: Mint polo, £8; shorts, £9
As you'd expect, the price points are kept low, low, low. There are loose jeans in dark indigo or a summery blue and white stripe for £22, light knit or cotton polos from £8 and suit jackets for £25.
It's all very much on-trend - F&F say their designers keep a close eye on trend forecasts and runway shows to keep the collections cutting edge.
That hooded camouflage jacket is worth snapping up and will set you back £25, while the more buttoned-up can indulge their Beau Brummel leanings without the Savile Row price tag - a navy suit jacket is £42; matching trousers are £23 and a shirt is £6.
