While the rest of the celebrities were being given a warm welcome back onto the ice, one person was noticeably absent.
Lauren Goodger was seen sitting in the audience as the Dancing On Ice grand final got underway.
The former TOWIE regular claimed that she was injured and unable to take part, however, she was bizarrely not mentioned at all on the show.
Have a seat: Lauren Goodger sat in the audience and watched the Dancing On Ice Final next to former skate partner Michael Zenezini on Sunday night
Lauren was not even given a front row seat as she sat amongst the other audience members and her skating partner Michael Zenezini.
The only time she was actually seen on screen was during a pre-recorded montage which showed every contestant from this series.
While Philip Schofield and Christine Bleakley took time to interview the other returning celebrities, no explanation was given for Lauren not taking part.
Get comfortable: Lauren said that she had to see a physio and was unable to take part in the show
The excuses: Lauren may have explained her absence via Twitter but Dancing On Ice didn't mention her at all
The reality television star set the record straight via her Twitter account, though, and explained that she was suffering an injury.
She posted: 'Sorry guys I've been in physio I'm injured I'm here with the atmosphere but can't skate! Wrap party after loved every minute of DOI 2013 xx.'
Goodger's presence at the studio must have been known by the show's producers as she said that she had also been backstage with the rest of the crew earlier in the day.
Blast from the past: Lauren, pictured with Michael, had been backstage at Dancing On Ice earlier in the day
Reunion: The class of 2013 reunited to skate one last time with their partners, but not Lauren
She said: 'Spent the day with my Doi crew love to all the guys and good luck finalists !! Eekkk xx'.
The injury that prevented her from skating caps off a bad series for Goodger who was voted off Dancing On Ice with some scathing comments in the second week.
Judge Jason Gardiner, who had earlier complained Lauren's performance had 'the sensuality of a walrus on ice', said: 'One of you was elegant, beautiful; and committed. For the other, the only way is through the back door.'
Olympic artistic gymnast Beth Tweddle, who also received some less than complimentary comments from Gardiner, was crowned winner with her partner Daniel Whiston and Matt Lapinskas came second.
Here we go again: Every single previous competitor was seen back on the ice apart from Goodger
Winning smile: Beth Tweddle and Daniel Whiston were crowned champions
