Nick Grimshaw's Radio 1 Breakfast Show raised over £250,000 for Comic Relief as they embarked on a long morning of Red Nose Day challenges.
The party-loving host was particularly excited on Thursday morning as he called in some of his celebrity friends to join him in the studio and help achieve the huge total.
The 28-year-old vowed to dye his hair pink if the breakfast team reached the £250,000 total after completing several other tasks along the way.

Lots of celebrity guests were lined up for the show with David Walliams, Kate Moss and many more waiting in the wings.

Grimmy set a target of £20,000 to reach in order to play a new game called Mills On Wheels.
Radio DJ Scott Mills, who is an awful skater, was put in a pair of roller skates and was told that he would be pushed randomly into three masked celebrities.
Whichever person he bumped into he would have to kiss, as Grimmy described 'full on tongue'.
Some of the mystery celebrities would have apparently been desirable for Mills and some would not be, but he would only have to do the challenge if they raised £20,000.
The ringmaster: Nick was the main host during the chaotic Thursday morning at BBC
Boy meets girl: Little Mix's Perry let Union J's JJ have a sniff of the bottle full of cinnamon

The fun didn't stop in the studio as Nick Grimshaw was then told that he would have to overcome one of his worst fears.

Thankfully for Nick lots of friends turned up to empty the trays of mealworms into the bath. Connor Maynard, Jessie J and Union J stood ready.

He added: 'You have to text now. Text the word HELP now to 70005. They are all over me. It's horrible.'
Comic Relief founder Richard Curtis passed by with longstanding presenter Lenny Henry to discuss some cases of how the money will help people.
Fashionably late: Kate Moss arrived at the studio in good spirits wearing a grey fur jacket and boiler suit
Sultry and sexy: Model Kate Moss dropped by to read out a passage from Fifty Shades Of Grey

Nick reeled in his biggest showbusiness friend and brought Kate Moss down to the studio for a rather different type of challenge.
The world's most famous model, who is well known for hardly ever talking, pledged to read a chapter from the erotic novel Fifty Shades Of Grey.
Nick said: 'She's taken a sponsored silence for the last 25 years. What we need is two hundred grand.' After several pleas they reached the target and so began Fifty Shades Of Kate.
Very amusing: Kate was overwhelmed by the huge amount of applause she received after her reading

The whole studio erupted with applause and Lenny Henry barked like a dog as the supermodel ended her short but impressive recital.
Lily Cooper, who had pledged to slaughter or keep alive a pig for charity, arrived in the studio and attempted to get somebodies names trending around the world.

BBC Radio 1 tweeted: 'If you want to trend worldwide on Twitter,we'll make it happen!Donate £5 to 70005 &1 of you will become Internet famous in the next 15 mins!' (sic)
Nick had earlier screamed in agony as he was covered in mealworms, but the radio presenter was putting himself up for further embarrassment as he vowed to dye his hair if people donated £250,000.
The money raisers: Richard, Lenny and Kate struck a pose towards the end of the show
Looking good: Nick completed his show having raised over £250,000 and vowed to dye his hair pink
After a lot of discussion with Sara Cox and even more persuasion, the Grimshaw vowed to dye his hair pink or very light red in the studio.
Unfortunately for him, the public were fully supporting the cause and by the time the show came off air at 11am, they had hit their target of £250,000.
The team tweeted: 'we've raised a quarter of a million pounds - thank you so much from everyone here at @R1Breakfast and @bbcr1 we love you! #RedNoseBreakfast.'
Nick will now have to take the plunge and change his famously big brown hair in favour of rather camp pink shade.
